Samsung’s New Gear 360 was announced today at the Samsung Unpacked! It is a new version of the Gear 360, the company’s already existing 360 cameras. It was made official with an official announcement of the Galaxy S8/S8 plus. The official announcement captures the essence of all the necessary information along with the price of our brand new Gear Virtual Reality. If it is a better version, then obviously, It would have some better features like the new Gear 360 is capable of capturing 360 video in 4K which means in 4096 x 2160 and that too at 24 fps. It is also allowing the live streaming 2K to Facebook & YouTube.

If we talk about its built that it comes in a bulbous form and gives a handheld form-factor. This time the Samsung has raised the standards of the specifications of their earlier version. Samsung has really worked a lot to make this version better than ever before. It has also given permission to its device and spread its support to the devices like iPhone 7 too. Big step, Samsung has taken this time!

The earlier model has been just capable of shooting at a max resolution of 3840 x 1920 at 30 fps but wasn’t able to capture the Live Streaming. Earlier the old version was only connected to a limited number of devices! This time they have improved a lot better in terms of everything! Samsung hasn’t announced the price details and also the availability details! The company has just said that the shipping will start somewhere in April or May and will definitely be going to cost less than the older version which was priced at $350.

Like its predecessor, this version product would also provide all the existing functions along with some additional ones like the latest version will allow you to convert 360 content into a standard video or photo too. How cool is that! Live-stream capture could easily be sent wirelessly to PC or any one of the supported smartphones. Later you can even upload the same to either YouTube or Facebook.
