The launch date for ‘Transpose’, a VR puzzle experience for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR, is somewhere in the early November days.
Developed by the virtual reality (VR) developer, Secret Location, ‘Transpose’ blends surreal imagery with quirky puzzle mechanics that involve a little bit of time travel. It consists over 30 levels to complete all the puzzles where the players require to clone themselves, making time loops of past actions to solve them.
The players are granted the power to manipulate time and create multiple overlapping versions of themselves to solve puzzles. Each level becomes comparatively complex as the game is progressed. In order to traverse the paths and collaborate across time, the past echoes are recorded.
Alongside the time loops, this wonderful puzzle allows the players to rotate the environs to walk on walls and ceilings. You are guaranteed to experience perspective shifts and multifaceted puzzles in ways only possible in VR. Also, Secret Location has included multiple locomotion and comfort options to ensure maximum comfort for the players. The players have the choice of room-scale, standing, and seated play depending on preference.
The launch date is confirmed to be November 6 for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR. The game is priced at $19.99 USD on Steam and Oculus Store and is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and simplified Chinese. You can either wish-list the game or follow it on respective stores.
