Amazon might soon enter the league of VR technocrats as per a recent job posted by Amazon which seemingly wishes to produce Virtual Reality content. The job was posted on Glassdoor to secure professionals in course of building up a new Virtual reality content production team. As per the job post, Amazon is seeking responsible candidates capable to build virtual reality experience within the Amazon video.

Amazon’s elaborated and detailed job post revealed even further quoting “Entertainment is a rapidly evolving genre, the future of which will not be limited to inert 2D experiences. The newly hired and put together Virtual Reality team by Amazon will explore as well as create a platform and interface for immersive storytelling.”

As per the revealed information it looks like Amazon currently has more on the mind than just produce VR videos. The company may be seen launching a platform similar to youtube for sharing VR content and for letting the audiences enjoy it.

Coming back to the job post, the candidates are required to possess a degree in Computer Science with 15 years or so of relevant experience along with 7 years of work experience in software development. However, no previous experience in Virtual Reality has been mentioned in the requirements. The company is surely willingly to kick off a business streak with Virtual Reality.
