Everybody knew about the coming of Amazon Virtual Reality Studios. Some thought that, it is some hoax, but hiring of former Tribeca Film Festival director, Genna Terranova to head their Amazon studios proved to a true.  A spokesperson for Amazon has also confirmed the hiring on Wednesday. He also said that the Company is choosing to maintain a silence when it comes to other plans.

Under the leadership and fabrication of Tribeca, Amazon studios will now be able to expand its horizon to include Virtual Reality and other styles and forms of storytelling. She left the festival in November and at the same time Amazon was also looking to expand their vision into virtual reality for some time now. The Company had also approached a great number of Virtual Reality studios in the context of both licensed and exclusive content.

Amazon posts, job opening for VR content production team earlier this year as they are looking for candidates who are capable to work with Virtual Reality in order to make amazing Amazon videos. Netflix is also taking its baby steps in order to launch Virtual Apps on headsets like Google’s Daydream view.
