CyberPowerPC’s has created a desktop and Oculus ready which is Ultra VR that costs $499.99. But, that’s not all! There’s a caveat. You have to buy it along with Oculus Rift Headset that costs even more than this PC at $599.9. So, if you will bundle up together, it will take you back to the price range of $1,099.98. The Gamer Ultra VR desktop is now made available at Best Buy and Amazon.  There is one more twist and that is, that the standalone price for the PC and that too without the headset is $649.99.

If we talk about the specifications, then the red and black Gamer Ultra VR also includes the AMD’s quad-core FX-4350 CPU and also the Radeon RX 470 GPU. Gamer ultra VR has 8GB of memory, a hard drive of 1 TB! It has three USB 3.0 ports and seven USB 2.0 ports along with an HDMI slot. Till now, these VR-ready PCs were basically for those buyers who could afford really high-priced desktops which were developed with top CPUs and GPUs. But the companies like Oculus are actually helping to bring down the requirements and Prices for hard wares and PCs.

Oculus’s ASW, short for Asynchronous SpaceWarp helps the modest FX CPU and RX 470 GPU to deliver a high-end Virtual Reality experience in the Gamer Ultra VR.  ASW almost halves the time that is required to produce the same amount of output by CPU/GPU from the same content. The Company is expecting the shipments of VR-capable PCs to go high along with the interest in the headset also grows.  This latest Oculus ready desktop PC is often compared with GPUs, like Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1060 and AMD’s RX 480.
