GDC short for Game developers Conference brought great news for Virtual Reality (VR) enthusiasts. They are about to conduct their first ever standalone Conference for VR and AR creators or developers who made this impressive technology. The conference is named as the Virtual Reality Developers conference. It will be conducted in this 2nd and 3rd November in San Francisco. It will be the second conference in this field as the first one was conducted under the umbrella of UBM Tech which was held in March. A new advisory board has been set up for this two day event which will encourage the developers of VR and AR to exchange their ideas and will create more business opportunities.
This second edition of GDC will focus not only on games, apps but beyond them. The use of VR/AR in other fields such as medical where VR can be used in teaching purposes as University of Zurich has worked for the students where they can learn from this latest technology instead of books , military where there is a lot of scope is there for VR technology to flourish, etc. Top names on the advisory board will lead the content of the conference. Top names include famous creators such as Alex Schwartz and Owlchemy Labs of Job Stimulator, Noah Falstein of Google, Robert Stevenson of Oculus and so on. This event will also showcase the latest developed applications or gadgets for Virtual Reality in the vendor area.
VRDC also invites Talk submissions which are open to the creators till 8th of July. Anyone can submit their proposal and will be discussed by developers of VRDC. They are encouraging new minds to get mingled with each other.
