Oculus has announced the VR Charity Challenge – a new charitable scheme which is set to take place from 13th December to 16th December 2018.

The challenge is simple enough. There will be two teams of five players who will compete against each other for a prize money of $100,000 USD. This money will go to either ‘Take This’ or ‘Stack Up’. The former is a mental health nonprofit serving the game community and the latter works to bring veterans together in a supportive environment using a universal love for gaming.

Both the teams comprise a bunch of gamers from YouTube. ‘Take This’ includes Pamela Horton, The Missessmae, Sohinki, Panse, and Lemming while ‘Stack Up’ comprises ChilledChaos, Sandman, STPeach, Austen Marie, and Magnusbeasticus.

The four days of the challenge will feature different VR titles. On 13th December, it will be the ‘Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes’. On 14th December, it will be ‘Face Your Fears’. And on 15th December and 16th December, the players will have to face ‘Dead and Buried’ and ‘Creed: Rise to Glory’ respectively.
