Sony PlayStation VR’s Pre Orders Sold out in US within Minutes

The much awaited Sony’s PlayStation VR had just begun its pre-orders in the US, minutes after which the orders were completely sold out. Thus, the Pre-orders for the PlayStation 4 virtual reality headset are no longer available for users and the fans will now have to wait till the October release to grab one for themselves.

The marketing authorities including Sony’s Vice President of Marketing John Koller believes that exclusive VR games play a very significant role in enticing the gamers into the wondrous world of VR immersive experience.

The team has also claimed that the release of the Star Wars Battlefront, PlayStation 4 VR game has also played an extremely special role in the success of the virtual Reality headset which was previously named as Sony’s Project Morpheus. Koller explains that the VR version of the Star Wars’ game is going to be much different than the PlayStation 4 game and further goes on to say, “We are planning to work with EA, DICE, Lucasfilm, and Disney to try and make the VR experience something so special and so intrinsic to what’s in many people’s DNA, which is how can I be in that world of ‘Star Wars’.”

The Company claims that Battlefront is going to be an amazingly special game that will show the gamers what it is like to be in the world of Virtual Reality. The most awaited and exciting piece of VR gaming tech has finally created a stir among the people, something the Company as well as the enthusiasts had been seeking for far too long. For those, who didn’t get a chance to order their PlayStation VR well, October isn’t too far either now is it?
